Prof. James Giordano, PhD, is the Director of the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies' Center for Neurotechnology Studies. In a recent issue of the physicians' journal Practical Pain Management, he writes about the challenges facing practitioners of pain medicine, in light of evolving views of pain disorders and drug abuse.
