Ms. Janelle Gatchalian

Ms. Gatchalian joined the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies staff in 2000 as an Administrative Assistant.  Since coming to the Institute, she has been promoted to the role of Executive Assistant to the corporate officers where she is responsible for the daily management of their schedules and special projects assigned to her.  Ms. Gatchalian also coordinates and manages the Internship Program for the Policy Research Division of at the Institute. Her duties range from recruitment to matching students with Institute staff based on their areas of interest.

Currently, she is a Research Assistant in support of the Distributed Operations Architecture Study, a project sponsored by DARPA and the USMC.

A 2000 graduate, Ms. Gatchalian attended the University of Virginia, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political and Social Thought, with a concentration in Asian American Studies.  She is a life member of Phi Beta Delta, the Honorary Society for International Scholars.
