The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies' International Center for Terrorism Studies held an Ambassadors' Forum Luncheon with Georgia's Ambassador to the US, Temuri Yakobashvili, on the "Georgia-US Strategic Partnership: Past Experience and Future Outlook," Thursday, May 19. Co-sponsors of this event included the Inter-University Center for Terrorism Studies and the Inter-University Center for Legal Studies of the International Law Institute. The Ambassador is known as the architect of Georgia's "engagement strategy" for improving relations between Georgia and the regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which are under Russian occupation.
