The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies was pleased to present a briefing by Major General John A. Toolan, Jr., USMC, Commanding General, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), on Monday, April 23.  This event was part of the USMC Returning Commander speaker series. MajGen Toolan recently completed a year-long deployment in Afghanistan. Under his leadership, Marines and coalition forces supported NATO and ISAF efforts in Afghanistan.
