Potomac Institute for Policy Studies Senior Fellow Amb. David Smith (Ret.) is the Director of the Potomac Institute Cyber Center.  He is a cyber security and cyber policy analyst, and a former US arms negotiator. In comments to Government Computer News, he weighed in on threats allegedly made by the hacktivist group Anonymous.  Smith says a claim, subsequently disputed, that the group would shut down the Internet on March 31 is "grandiose" and unlikely to materialize. But he and other experts acknowledge that actual and threatened cyber disruption is a growing problem.  Click here to read the article in full.
