Stuart Street, Suite 200 Arlington, VA 22203 (Ballston stop on the Orange line) Why: Sustained threats to the security of ports, borders and public assemblies in the age of terror require innovative surveillance solutions -- and airships equipped with sophisticated electronic sensors and cameras are often considered as part of that solution. Can the relatively old technology of airships be married to new technology to meet today's urgent needs? The forum will explore the capabilities of such platforms and discuss ways in which airships are being used and could be used.
