CFO, Gail Clifford, Named Corporate Officer |

January 19, 2005 News Release Arlington, VA – This week, Potomac Institute’s Board of Directors, announced the promotion of Ms. Gail Clifford, current Chief Financial Officer, to the position of Corporate Officer. “Ms. Clifford has provided invaluable service to the Potomac Institute,” said CEO, Michael Swetnam. “She has grown and stabilized the organization’s finances, and in doing so, has allowed the Institute to take on larger responsibilities and challenges.” Ms. Clifford joined Potomac Institute in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for all phases of financial and accounting management including: planning, billing, banking relationships, and accounting practice through appraisals of the organization’s financial position and monthly financial and operating reports. She previously held financial positions with the International Science and Technology Institute, Lance Bailey and Associates, and B.L. Seamon & Associates, Inc. Ms. Clifford has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Johns Hopkins University. She graduated with honors from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad, with a B.S. in Business Management. Ms. Clifford is a CPA and a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member the National Association of Female Executives.
