CEO Speaks at Congressional Hearing on Threats to National Security

Arlington, VA -- On February 2, 2005, Potomac Institute CEO, Mr.Michael Swetnam spoke before the U.S. House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence during a hearing on threats to national security called “Global Threats to U.S. Interests in the 21 st Century.” Mr. Swetnam was one of five witnesses to speak on the subject. Other witnesses included Mr. Richard Perle, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for international Security Policy, Mr. James R. Woolsey, former Director of Central Intelligence, Dr. Gregory Treverton, former Vice Chair of the National Intelligence Council, and Dr. Kurt Campbell, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Asia.
