The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies' Spring 2010 quarterly newsletter, Focus, features a cover story on the Institute's participation in NATO's Turkish Partnership for Peace Training Center in Ankara. In March, Institute CEO Michael Swetnam and Prof. Yonah Alexander, Director of the Institute's International Center for Terrorism Studies, were invited to speak to military officers from 19 countries about the use of strategic communication to combat terrorism.  Also in the Spring 2010 issue: a CETO initiative to help the USMC address climate change. The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies is an independent, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit public policy research institute. The Institute identifies and aggressively shepherds discussion on key science and technology issues facing our society.
