Spring2017Interns

Last month PIPS said goodbye to their spring semester interns. On April 28th the interns presented their projects to the Institute staff, which signified the culmination of their internship. Presentation topics included technology and democracy by Nicholas Balenger, a junior at George Mason University; big data and internet privacy by Henrietta Biayemi, a senior at University of Maryland; the security vulnerabilities of the national power grid by Jacqueline Boudreau, a junior at the University of Southern California; and advancements in neuroimaging by Matthew Swierzbinksi, a recent PhD graduate from the University of Maryland. We wish the interns the best of luck in their future endeavors, and are ready to welcome the eight students that will be joining us this summer.
