Lecture: The Cyborg

On October 30, Dr. Paolo Benanti of the Pontificia Universita Gregoriana of Rome, Italy, gave a lecture entitled “The Cyborg: A Core Concept for Answers and Questions of Neurotechnology.”

Issues surrounding cyborg technology include how soon a true "cyborg" could emerge, and where society should draw moral and legal lines when a person becomes part machine.  The program addressed ways these issues relate to our concept of self, and the limits confronting technology and its uses.
