Understanding the potential for U.S. monetary challenges to profoundly shape the economic landscape for research, innovation, and industrial competitiveness is central to the Potomac Institute’s in-depth analytic approach. On May 6, the Potomac Institute held virtual discussion with Rosalie Loewen, the Institute's economist, to overview the Federal Reserve's mandate and tools and discuss the Fed's targets, timing, and what is at risk. As an added bonus, Ms. Loewen provided a discussion of 10-year Treasuries and their current importance.
