Regulatory Science and Engineering CenterThe Potomac Institute is pleased to announce the addition of the Regulatory Science and Engineering Center (RSEC) to the Potomac Institute. RSEC serves to study and influence the regulatory process by incorporating the best available science and engineering practices into its policy recommendations. Like PIPS, RSEC will only be successful in its mission if it continues to help foster the development of leading science and technology regulatory policy for the betterment of society.

RSEC is working with its Senior Advisory Board to begin plans for holding a seminar series on Regulatory Science. The goal of these seminars will be to bring together individuals from the regulator, regulated and legal sides of a specific regulatory agency and have them discuss what regulatory science is and what they think the role of science in regulations should be.
