The Potomac Institute can accept cash, checks, ACH deposits, and wire transfers over $100. Please make checks, ACHs, and wires payable to "Potomac Institute for Policy Studies" as checks made payable to individual representatives will not be accepted. For cash donations through a donor-advised fund (DAF), simply request a distribution through your DAF sponsor to the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies. The Potomac Institute can accept gifts of readily marketable securities, such as those traded on a stock exchange. For security donations through a donor-advised fund (DAF), simply request a distribution through your DAF sponsor to the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies. For gifting of closely held securities like corporate stock plans, please contact [email protected].

Planned giving offers donors a variety of strategies for supporting the Potomac Institute. Planned giving can include: will or trust provisions; retirement plan assets; life insurance policies, charitable remainder trusts, and charitable lead trusts. For information about setting up your planned giving to the Institute, please contact [email protected].

The Potomac Institute may accept other forms of donation and giving, possibly including but not limited to: gifts in-kind, memorial gifts, real estate, or tangible personal property. For details on how to gift through one of these or an alternative method, please contact [email protected].

Contributions to the Institute are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. All donations will receive a receipt to your email address provided at the time of donation. The Potomac Institute does not sell, trade, or share your anyformation with anyone. The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies reserves the right to refuse any gift or donation that is not in the best interest of the organization.
